Hub Sydney (part of Hub Australia) is a rental co-working space that promotes networking, co-creation and serves as a platform for building new ideas across industries. As described by Hub Australia, ‘Hub Sydney’s co-working space has been designed to be as diverse as the people that use them with private desks, studios, flexible co-working desks, meeting rooms, and quiet spaces’.
When Hub Sydney came to Cubikai, their brief involved us providing an array of furniture that would support these types of spaces. People using the spaces needed to be able to distinguish each area from the next, so that they could easily identify with their own best practice. The space also needed to be exciting, to inspire people to engage with each other over new and existing ideas.
Initial discussions were made over building plans, where we supplied concepts for furniture fit-outs. A concept was chosen, including our timber mobile co-working tables, private desks, Hikari Task Chairs and some custom-builds. From this point, we instigated production to be delivered direct from our warehouse via container shipment. Once received, our assembly team collected goods from port, un-packed to the Hub Sydney space, and assembled on-site.
After completion, Hub Sydney has ordered further furniture for their thriving organisation, in what is a highly exciting, inspiring space.
